Advertising Policy
Purpose
This Policy applies to paid Captain destinations and related public metadata displayed through RED / BLUE. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their destination, claims, products, services, and required disclosures comply with applicable law.
Authority and identity
You may promote only destinations that you own, control, or are authorized to advertise. You may not impersonate another person or organization, use another party's identity deceptively, or falsely imply sponsorship, affiliation, endorsement, or authorization. RED / BLUE may request evidence of authority before or after accepting a placement.
Prohibited destinations and conduct
RED / BLUE may reject, suspend, quarantine, de-link, or remove destinations involving or facilitating:
- illegal goods, services, content, or activity;
- malware, phishing, credential theft, malicious downloads, or other harmful code;
- fraud, scams, materially deceptive claims, or intentionally misleading representations;
- counterfeit goods or infringement of intellectual-property, publicity, privacy, or other rights;
- deceptive impersonation or false affiliation;
- unlawful pornography, sexual exploitation, or illegal adult services;
- unlawful gambling, wagering, lotteries, sweepstakes, or gaming activity;
- unlawful or improperly marketed regulated products or services, including controlled substances, weapons, tobacco or nicotine, prescription products, financial products, or healthcare claims;
- terrorist, extremist, or unlawful hateful content;
- harassment, threats, doxxing, or content designed primarily to abuse a person;
- sanctions, export-control, or restricted-party violations;
- payment-network-prohibited activity, chargeback abuse, or other material fraud risk; or
- other content or activity that RED / BLUE reasonably determines creates material legal, security, payment, or user-safety risk.
Political and issue advertising
Political, election-related, candidate, party, ballot-measure, and issue-oriented advertising is not categorically prohibited. The advertiser is solely responsible for determining and satisfying every sponsorship-identification, disclaimer, registration, reporting, targeting, recordkeeping, source-of-funds, foreign-national, jurisdictional, and other legal requirement that applies to the particular communication. RED / BLUE may request supporting information or reject or remove a placement if compliance is uncertain or the placement presents material legal or platform risk.
Claims and landing pages
Advertising claims must be truthful, not misleading, and supported where substantiation is legally required. A landing page may not materially change after review in a way that would make the Captain placement deceptive, unlawful, or unsafe.
Paid-ad disclosure
RED / BLUE may identify paid Captain placements with labels such as “Paid Advertisement,” “Ad,” or “Paid Captain.” Advertisers may not obscure, remove, or interfere with those disclosures.
Enforcement and complaints
RED / BLUE may act before completing an investigation when reasonably necessary to protect users, payment integrity, rights holders, or the service. Questions, rights complaints, or reports concerning a Captain destination may be sent to info@redblue.lol.
